Nice sleek desk lamp

This is a nice sleek desk lamp. Great touch control and perfect for viewing true colours. I wish the joint at the base wasn’t plastic but we will see how it wears. You can’t beat Amplis’s price.

For the price there should be less plastic at critical stress points like hinges. This lamp is overpriced for the hardware being used to facilitate full spectrum lighting.

A bit costly but extremely important for serious photographers who print!

Viewing light (colour temperature) makes a huge difference in appearance of printed photos (and other coloured objects). While professionals use larger colour temperature controlled light sources for their exhibited photos, this smaller led lamp is great for individual photographers who enjoy printing their work using modern colour printers to gauge the appearance of their work for assessment and display. The unit is well made with very stringent cut-offs (spectral) and a must have for serious photographers. Slightly costly but well worth the price over long term due to the long-lasting and cool LED light source utilized. Works fine with any good quality power bank that can supply the required current and voltage in a sustained manner.
