The Think Tank Battery Holder 2 holds two of my LP-E6N or LP-E6NH batteries with their protective trays. The fit with the protective trays was a bit snug at first, but with use it has become easier to slip the dslr batteries with their trays into each slot. I also have a Think Tank 4-battery holder. I highly recommend these battery holders.
Have had a variety of the Think Tank battery holders over the years . They are well made and durable and keep battery contacts away from each other. Learned my lesson early on in the digital era when a couple of loose LP-E6 's made contact and started to heat up. Luckily caught them in time. Although not waterproof they do keep batteries protected.
