Lens changer is a great design and offers superior protection, important when it comes to a lens with a high price tag. 2 drawbacks: one is the shoulder strap - very uncomfortable, given the weight of the lens is 4.4lbs. Had to swap out the shoulder strap with another accessory and problem solved, well, for me at least. Second drawback is the length/diameter of the changer makes it impossible to keep the lens hood in place when storing the lems.
