I have 2 of old version bags and now 3 of version 2, all various sizes for the reasons below. So, 5V2:
PLUSES: functional, small enough not to be a burden carrying all day long, looks good, does not scream "thousands of dollars are inside", relatively functional dividers I'm not using. Strong velcro, strong strap, sitting comfortably, even with R5MKII attached to 28-70 2.0 monster there is still space for some small stuff. So, for air travel , I'd pack Respospective backpack (carry on item) and this one distributing the weight nicely. Then on location, depending on a need, you can either go with backpack or smaller bag. Anyone who shoots a lot has probably 10 bags or more, so this never ends of course... Priced OK..
MINUSES: totally useless and permanent internal divider "for ? iPad mini" taking space; only one side pocket (what was thew problem of placing those on both sides as they are collapsible). Rain cover: supplied but will never be used as limits functionality. I've sprayed all my canvas think tank bags with water repellent and stopped worrying about those getting wet long time ago.
BOTTOM LINE: highly recommended as either add-on small convenient bag if you shoot DSLR/mirrorless with pro level heavy lens (even with a grip it might still fit), or great to use alone with smaller cameras with fixed lens for "casual shooting". With time, the bottom edges will be "worn out", but this is normal for canvas bags.
