Customer Reviews
I've had this lens for a couple of weeks now and I am impressed by its performance. I purchased the Sony FE version of the lens and it is equipped with autofocus to a minimum distance of 1.5m. However, after downloading the latest firmware from Laowa, the lens is capable of using autofocus in macro mode as well. I have used it to create a few stacks of images using the Sony remote control app for my Sony a7iv. I am still learning the best workflow and the strengths and limitations of the remote focusing, but so far it is performing well. The optical [performance of this lens is exemplary. I have included two images that were shot using remote operation of focus bracketing in the field and stacked with Helicaon Focus.
This lens takes beautiful photos. Its really well constructed. It is an amazing lens and given the price it makes it such a great deal.
